Dr. Mehdi RAIS 

Holder of a State Doctorate in public law and political science, Dr. Mehdi Rais is an expert in International Relations, international law and migration policies in Euro-Mediterranean cooperation. Today he is an academician, lecturer and social entrepreneur.

From an academic point of view, Dr. Mehdi Rais is a visiting professor at several Universities and Institutes in Morocco, Great Britain, Italy, Switzerland, France, Germany, Luxembourg, Lebanon...etc. Mastering French, English, Spanish and Arabic (written and oral), he also provided training for several Moroccan and foreign personalities in diplomatic practice, international negotiations, strategic crisis management, functioning of organizations international cooperation, migration management…Dr. Mehdi Rais actively contributes to several studies and publications (42) relating to International Relations and cooperation in migration matters.

As a social entrepreneur, Dr. Mehdi Rais is the founding president of Mehdi Rais Development Group (MRG) which is a company encompassing multiple institutions of which he is the main manager. His academic, diplomatic and entrepreneurial activities allowed him to be appointed member of the Youth Innovation Group of the United Nations Population Fund (UNFPA) and then member of the APRM-CEPA Task-Force of the African Union responsible for of strategic development in Africa (Global Goals and Agenda 2063).

Indeed, in his capacity as Executive President of Innovative Development Initiatives -IDI-, (MRG subsidiary) Dr. Mehdi RAIS carries out also several development projects relating to the implementation of the United Nations 2030 Agenda in Morocco, in the Arab world and at an international level. It also contributes to the achievement of the development objectives of the African Union (Agenda 2063) in several African countries.

Inside Diplomatic Bridge (a subsidiary of MRG) of which he is the Executive President, Dr. Mehdi RAIS carries out important diplomatic actions. He had the honor of representing Morocco in several high-level political summits at the African, Arab, European and international levels. He also held bilateral meetings with senior international personalities, which allowed him to be in contact with the main international organizations.

Regarding recognitions and distinctions, Dr. Mehdi RAIS obtained letters of congratulation and support from government institutions in Morocco and from imminent international personalities (Secretary General of the United Nations, President of the European Commission, Union African…).

Thanks to the impact of these projects, Dr. Mehdi RAIS is named among the most influential Young Leaders under 40 by the Global Peace Institute and Best Young Leader in Africa for the "Global Impact" category.
