SDGs Impact Road

Aiming to contribute to the rapid and global implementation of the United Nations 2030 Agenda, Innovative Development Initiatives (IDI) has developed its “SDGs Impact Road” initiative. Involving all stakeholders at the international level (Government, International Organizations, Territorial Communities, Experts, Media Institutions, etc.), this initiative consists of establishing a unique platform for practical reflection in the form of 3 meetings/year: Ministerial Conference, Territorial Conference and Acceleration workshops. The objective is to discuss, develop and implement a multidimensional methodology likely to accelerate the rapid and effective completion of the SDGs by 2030 in Africa, the Arab region and the world.

In this regard, “SDGs Impact Road” is designed to respond to the commitments of Innovative Development Initiatives (IDI), as an institutional member of the “Task Force” (Dr. Mehdi RAIS is a leading member), created by the Directorate of Economic and Social Affairs of the Nations- (UNDESA) and the African Union Peer Review Mechanism (APRM), with the aim of accelerating the implementation of the United Nations 2030 Agenda and the African Union 2063 Agenda.

Through “SDGs Impact Road”, Innovative Development Initiatives (IDI) contribute directly to the emergence of a fairer, more equitable and more sustainable world without leaving anyone behind!

The “SDGs Impact Road” initiative aims to accelerate the pace of implementation of SDGs as well as their impact in 2023 by:

-Identifying gaps and translating them into opportunities

-Mobilizing financial, technical and human resources

-Sharing experiences and “Success stories”

-Supporting the various proposals for accelerating the SDGs

-Encouraging partnerships between all stakeholders

-Promoting progress made in implementing the SDGs

-Increased involvement of media institutions in the acceleration of the SDGs

All while making sure not to leave anyone behind!
